Real-Time Updates

Live channels stream changes to connected users, per record and per user, so what's on screen is what's actually true, not what was true when the page loaded.

Illustrative UI only. Data and individuals shown are fictitious; any resemblance to real persons or data is coincidental.

Subscribe to the record you're on

A screen can subscribe to the record it's showing and have changes pushed to it the moment they land. It's how shared views stay on the same numbers without anyone refreshing.

Notifications without the refresh

Every user has their own channel for notifications and unread counts, and recipients are de-duplicated, so holding two roles on the same record doesn't mean being pinged twice.

Work pools update themselves

Shared queues reflect a lead or claim entering or leaving the moment it happens, so the whole team is looking at the same pool, and nobody picks up work a colleague already took.

Portal users stay in their lane

External portal connections are restricted to their own channel by construction. A policyholder's session can't subscribe to an arbitrary record. The door simply isn't wired for them.

Why we like this one

Real-time is easy to demo and hard to run. The unglamorous parts are what make this one hold up: reconnection backs off gently so a server restart doesn't get stampeded by every open session at once, keepalives catch dropped listeners before users notice, and the channels a session may join are decided by what kind of user it is, not by what it asks for.
