Approval Integration
Any case, or any record type at all, becomes approvable by flipping one setting. The approvals tab, the submit action and the sign-off engine arrive on their own.
Illustrative UI only. Data and individuals shown are fictitious; any resemblance to real persons or data is coincidental.
One setting, not a build
Enabling approval on a record type adds the approvals tab, the submit action and the underlying columns automatically. There is no per-object integration project. It's a switch.
The right process finds the record
Which sign-off applies is decided per record, by conditions that can read across relationships, so the process for high-value cases appears only on high-value cases.
Locked while it's being decided
A record under approval can be locked against edits until the decision lands. Once approved, the record is stamped as such, and that stamp is sticky and never quietly un-set.
Outcomes that act
Approval and rejection fire configured actions (set a field, update a related record, notify someone), so the decision changes the work, not just a status chip.
Why we like this one
One engine approves everything. Whether it's a case, a policy or an account, the approvals tab looks the same, the audit trail reads the same, and the same rule that stops you approving your own submission holds everywhere. That consistency is exactly what an auditor hopes to find and rarely does: not five approval features bolted onto five modules, but one, applied uniformly.
